First prize of the Music Conservatory of Nice, 2000 edition, in class of alto and soprano saxophone classical and contemporary, she also excels in the clarinet by a flawless technique and an innate sense of improvisation. She accompanied by the famous Jazzmen such as Joe Muranyi, Maxime Saury, Chris Barber, Evan Christopher, Tom "Spats" Langham, James Evans, Paul Asaro, Matthias Seuffert, Jean-François Bonnel, etc. ... is part of other formations such as Red Hot Reedwarmers, Swing Berries and the Duke Orchestra, she also played as a guest in many orchestras such as the Swiss Yerba buena Creole Rice JB, Hot Antic JB, les rois du Fox Trot, Nany Swing, Phoenix Jazz Band, les Gigolos, etc... with whom she participated in various concerts and Jazz Festivals . - DEBORAH TROPEZ LAFERRIERE: drums, washboard, vocals.
Born in 1984, it shows a precocious talent for drums. Student at the Music conservatory d'Antibes and Nice, winner of the Sonnor contest 2001 she may suggest a bright future.
Her youth and her boundless energy propel the entire orchestra in rhythms. By his fiery temperament she leads the orchestra to "stick".
She also plays in other bands, including the famous quintet of Marc Laferriere, The Gunhild Carling Ladies all Stars...
- JEAN PIERRE GIRAUD: soprano sax , clarinet, scatt.
Musician self-taught, he learned the clarinet and soprano saxophone. Lulled since an early age by the New Orleans jazz, his phrasing inspired by the great Sidney Bechet which he dedicated a fervent admiration. He played in several Bands known in the region Provence Cote d'Azur, has participated in Jazz Festival in Juan les Pins, Cannes, Salanches and St Raphâel before joining the Jazzticots early 1999.
- STAN LAFERRIERE: banjo, guitare, piano, vocals.
Piano Award Paris CNR in 1980 he created in 1982 a septet with whom he recorded his first album as a leader. He has performed, recorded or written orchestrations for musicians such as Benny Carter, Monty Alexander, René Urtreger, Guy Lafitte, Claude Bolling, Phil Woods, Johnny Griffin, Michel Legrand, Babik Reinhardt etc ... It'screated in 1992 Tentet , with whom he recorded four albums and performed on the most prestigious French and international scenes. It runs from October 2005 the big band of the Air Force in Paris. Musician’s Son , it naturally follows in the footsteps of his father, banjo of les Haricots rouges in their infancy.
Sculptor occupation he enjoys Jazz with the same passion and even happiness.
He brings a particular colour to the whole thing and catalyse the energies of each.
- JEAN MARCEL TROPEZ: leader, sousaphon, arrangements.
After a few years the trombone in a marching band, sousaphone he learned by himself in 1994. Won by the New Orleans Jazz virus, it quickly turns to writing arrangements. He founded the Jazzticots early 1999, initiating andcarrying with him his two lovely girls.
He was privileged to accompany renowned musicians such as Joe Muranyi, Chris Barber, Maxim Saury, Marc Laferriere, Irakli, Daniel Huck...
